We wanted to protect our clients from getting spam comments offering unwanted products and website links.
The Solution
We installed Anti-Spam by Clean Talk, an online spam filter and website protection for blog post comments, logins and WooCommerce forums. Anti-spam works with many form plugins (including Contact Form 7 and Gravity Forms) to prevent unwanted contact. The plugin goes through several steps in eliminating spam. It does not use CAPTCHAs to prevent spam which is great so audiences would not discouraged from posting as much.
How Could This Plugin Be Improved?
It is a relatively great plugin that does not need any known improvements.
What We Liked Most
This plugin is relatively cheaper than some of its competitors. It is only $8 a year for one website versus the $5 to $10 a month subscription services for one website. Not only does it protect your website, it shows you the statistics of its protection which can been seen on a computer or a smartphone app.
