Clients often expect a long list of technical credentials before a web project can begin. The reality is simpler than you might think.
To build your new website, we need nothing from you.
We build on our own staging servers. Your current site stays live and untouched while we design, develop, and refine the new one. You review it, we revise it, and nothing goes public until you say so.
To launch your new website, here’s the checklist:
☑️ Domain registrar login
That’s it. That’s the list.
Your domain registrar is the account where your domain name is registered—typically GoDaddy, Namecheap, Network Solutions, Google Domains, or similar. This is where we point your domain to the new site when you’re ready to go live.
If you’re not sure where your domain is registered, we can help you figure that out.
What about email?
This is the question we hear most often—and for good reason. Your domain’s DNS controls both your website and your email routing.
We don’t touch DNS until we’ve documented your existing mail records (MX, SPF, DKIM). When we do make the switch, we change only what’s necessary for the website. Your email keeps working.
What about hosting?
We host client sites on our own managed infrastructure. You don’t need to provide hosting credentials or set up a new hosting account.
What about my current web company?
If another firm currently manages your site, that’s fine. We build independently on our systems. When you’re ready to launch, the only technical requirement is that you can log into your domain registrar—or grant us access to do so.
One login. No surprise changes. No disruption until you approve it.
